I participated in building Robostrike (www.robostrike.com), a multiplayer online game. The game has been online since 2003. Far from trivial, it requires strategic thinking and some training.

You may want to try the single player maps or the multiplayer mode. In single player, the first few maps serve as tutorial. The higher level maps are puzzles, some really hard to solve. In multiplayer mode, you interact directly with other players and can create your own maps.
